day night rain lightning thunder

why are funerals in flims always on black overcast rainy days.
while it bring so much happiness to me.
why is the lovely moon always lonely.

do you ever wish that the sun and moon could be together,
since they so often take turns to keep us company;
yet they always avoid each other and would never keep each other company.
and even if they do meet at occasions.
it's the briefest of moment,
do we even call it a reunion.

can the moon ever be brighter than the sun.
can the night ever be hotter than the day.
does the day comes before or after the night.
if so does the day begins when night falls, or when the sun shines in.

why are beautiful night stars so far away from us.
so distant that they could only twinkle,
that we don't even know that they are there.
do they have something to say to say when we realise their existence?
words that it want to convey but they can't say it aloud.
for the shapeless clouds are in the way.
forming a blanket on nights when we have a date.

why are flashes of lightning so mesmerizing.
and rumbling thunder associated with fear and irritation.

you the moving air.
you always showed up at times when i need you most,
and have never ask for anything in return when i'm at the mills.
why then can't you treat everybody else the same, and not thrash their homes and uprooting countlessless trees.
they are my friends too.
you have been a great help and i appreciate it, but when you hurt my friends you hurt me too.
if i ever set sail with my friends into the wind.
will you help me. or will you capsize my rocking boat.

let me dance in the raindrops.
let me play under the moonlight.
let me bring warmth like the sun.
let me sing like the wind.
let me mesmerize like lightning.
let me not fear the thunder.
