AA DnD

well. been pretty busy of late. mainly because of work. will be working alone from tomorrow onwards. until those who are leaving the army join me. work's killing me. but I have to bear with it until I save up to travel again. it's a vicious cycle, working and losing your freedom. then spending to de-stress and end up penniless and having to work again. still bleeding badly from my needless spending. cabbing around, drinking to fight boredom, and catching a few movies in these couple of weeks. I'm coping along well with my jap lessons but I barely squeeze out time to complete my homework and revision. not the ideal way of learning that i have initially though but it will stop once i stop working. that's for sure.

anyway I spent the whole of last weekend sick in bed after having the runs and catching a fever. no idea to the cause but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of insufficient rest after breaking every muscle fibre with my upper limbs. had a chance of going to AA's DnD and had a pretty good time there. In fact, had the insurance side took up the other side of my table, I would have felt that the experience would have been better than NJ's prom.

it's not an award. just a forfeit with the table no.
seriously. i would have prefer 8.

the food at merchant court is better than the one they offered at the stamford. definitely.

why is it that they don't have officers like her in the army?

i have no recollection of when this photo was taken.
i didn't even realise that our ceo was posing happily in the picture.

what i did remembered was going for a toilet break in a big group.
a hand did come round me to hang me.
but it was nothing compared to the hangover I had the next day.

i would say i had a splendid DnD experience, fusing over what to wear, what time to turn up, who not to sit with, drinking as a group and getting high, seeing managers and senior colleagues letting their hair down, how lucky draw can be done in ten minutes, the smiles on the faces of the winners, not forgetting those swearing when they missed by a number, and best of all, enjoying the company of your cousins doing stupid things and not afraid of people laughing at you because you realise the other two cousins are doing the same shit as you. after the first round of drinks we went to st james and becuase of the stupid age limit we had to be confined to powerhouse which played really lousy music and boast a bad crowd. seriously, go only if you want to find aunties there. at least, we didn't have to pay for the entrance fee. in fact if you ever had a bad day and want to do something stupid so badly, I would recommend going there because it's quite unlikely that you would ever be recognised there. I sure was glad the only people whom I know were the two fools who went with me, and what we did that night would be something only the 3 of us will know.

they say, blood is thicker than water.
opportunities to work with your cousins don't come by easy.
if there's every a chance to do so, seize it.
nobody looks stupid if you are with a bunch of fools.
